About

During the holidays, Madam Mann immersed herself in her family's North London warehouse, nestled in a dark alley in Kentish Town. Amidst the scent of dusty boxes, she navigated aisles teeming with costume jewelry treasures. Madam Mann skillfully crafted long necklaces by rummaging through troves of broken jewelry, surrounded by a spectrum of beads from swarovski set stones to czech glass beads. This experience naturally cultivated her profound understanding and affection for these materials, a sentiment that now pervades and shapes her artistic endeavors.

The family jewelry business, established by Madam Mann's grandfather, originated from Paris and evolved into one of the first fashion jewelry houses in the UK. Working with a team of talented designers, Madam Mann contributed to creating special fashion jewelry for renowned brands on the high street. After nine years in the industry, she felt the need to expand her knowledge and pursued an MA at Central Saint Martins in London. At Central Saint Martins, Madam Mann honed her unique skills, utilizing beads to craft three-dimensional, sculptural forms and reinventing classic jewellery shapes.

Madam Mann is dedicated to crafting beautiful, accessible jewelry that transcends fast fashion. Inspired by a bygone era of artisanal craftsmanship, she recalls a time when jewelry embodied integrity and durability. Her mission is to use traditional materials in innovative ways. "I grew up around jewelry, so my connection to the materials is unique. I combine lace with silver, Swarovski stones with glass beads, chain-mail with freshwater pearls." Madam Mann’s creations reflect the essence of the sacred feminine. "I want my jewellery to mirror the body's movement, with soft, organic lines representing this. I aim to offer something beautiful, original, and well-crafted, allowing people to feel special and celebrate their bodies. Fashion's greatest gift is its ability to let us reflect a little bit of the sole through what we wear."
